A Kangxi porcelain rouleau vase

The vase features scenes from the Birthday Celebration of the Queen Mother of the West (⻄王母寿 宴图), showing Xiwangmu surrounded by heavenly gods and goddesses as well as female courtiers. The motif, symbolizing immortality and celestial harmony, was popular in Han and Tang dynasty art and remained a favored theme in later decorative works.
